PM sent!

Now I need to price out some coil overs.

As a question, has anyone tried dual rates, or do they not come in a size that would fit?

I feel bad because I'm being quite lazy doing this, but can anyone tell me what I need to order from ORW?

Superlifted Ranger. I believe i need the limiting strap, shock and coils.

I'm also reading the thread but it's ----ing long and i was kinda hoping some guy with same truck could just drop some part numbers or specifics on me :)

I still haven't done limit straps.

I have 750lb 12" coils. I bought my coils from another member, but I know the specifics are in here somewhere

The following quote is a slightly modified version of what I posted 18 months ago back on page #11 (Coilover Part Numbers):

Also, I've never added the limit straps and/or bump stops to this list since they will vary depending on where & how you mount everything.

Of course, part #'s will vary depending on the desired spring rates. Also the Fox part #'s will vary depending on the body finish (cadmium versus upgraded chrome), as well as body color (blue versus black - but I don't think you can get the blue anymore). Tons of info on Fox shocks (Extended/Collapsed Info as well): http://www.off-roadproducts.com/FOX08Coilover.htm

Also, when I purchased my Fox coilovers, they were custom valved by the dealer to match the usage. A benefit of Fox CO’s – and good dealers do this for free & won’t sell them without it being done....I think that's VERY important as it can change everything about how the shock "rides". He asked me many questions about the usage in order to dial it in correctly (type of truck, on-road versus off-road usage, high-speed or low-speed. etc.).

I would suggest proxy sites, but its not worth breaking their user policy and possibly getting fired.

Thank you Logan. I will have to check if my kit came w spacers, I'm not exactly sure. But that is a useful guide on what to get

Edit - on the fox 2.0 any reason to go black/chrome over black/zinc?

I just liked the extra durability it provides, but most just go with the standard finish & never have issues.

What do you mean premium? Like the cost of them? I did notice similar size ones costing 336+.

                  I hope not.

If your just using this bracket kit - I believe the extended & collapsed lengths on those are way out of wack for our trucks (even if Superlifted).

                  That 10" King Setup = (27.050'' & 17.050'')

                  Confirmed working setup for a Stock Height Truck = (16.40" & 11.30") = Fox Coilover 5" Travel
                  Confirmed working setup for a Superlifted Truck = (19.35" & 12.85") = Fox Coilover 6.5" Travel

Ok, I must be looking at the wrong fox shocks on that site also. The extended/collapsed lengths were within an inch of each other.

OK, still waiting on the powdercoating, but the shop assured me I should be able to pick them up this week.

I should also be picking up the hardware in a couple of days, so if all goes well, I'll be packing and shipping this weekend.

                  Round 4:
                  SteelDirigible - Powdercoated - paid
                  RLong31 - Powdercoated
                  Brandon22685 - Powdercoated - paid
                  FFBill - Raw
                  Jatha05 - Raw - paid
                  bigmoon - Powdercoated - paid
                  moonliteshawn - Powdercoated - paid
                  tylerbird - Raw
                  ecrase2500 - Powdercoated - paid
                  Jared152 - Powdercoated

If you haven't paid yet, please try to get it to me ASAP.

                  Stay tuned!

Are these the soanner wrenches I will need?
                  https://www.offroadwarehouse.com/pro...roductID/51661
I saw this one listed, but there was another one listed as well that I could not locate. I didn't know if I should be getting 2 of these or if there were two different wrenches.

If you’re getting a 2.0 series setup from Fox they require two different sizes - You will need both.

Any spanner wrenches that say they are for a 2.0 series Fox setup will work fine.

I happened to pick mine up from here:
                  Spanner Wrench Fox 2.0 Large
                  Spanner Wrench Fox 2.0 Small

The need for two different sizes can be seen here:

Yes. That is the wrench that came with my coilovers. Whether the company sends them with c/o purchase or the guy I bought mine off of bought one. I dunno. I do know this, when adjusting your preload. Use of a breaker bar helps. Those square holes fit one perfectly.

                  Edit:

Logan why do you need two? I used the one in the link in question for both rings.
