Anybody with these brackets running foa coilovers. Ive searched many forums and google and have gotten mixed reviews. Ive read that the seals have leaked, but that they have fixed those problems. There emulsions run $120 vs fox at $207 and there rr run $160 vs fox at $260. Next question is extendes eyelets. If im running these brackets with superlift would I need the extended eyelets? And I dont see that foa makes them would fox's work on foas or other brand co's and where do you get the fox ones ive searched but havent came up with anything. I would like to give Foa a shot, bad reviews get turned into big rumors of a friend of a friend and id honestly like to give them a shot if they are reliable co's instead of reading someones friend of a friend review.

It also doesn't matter what coilover you use - you will need an extended eyelet of some kind.
The only exception I have seen is the original Bilsteins that came with the RCD kit. They had a 'built-in' extension to solve the clearance issue (there may be others) - but it's essentially the same thing.
The Bilsteins are seen here:
At the end of the day you just need to clear the CV boot.
Also, anywhere that sells Fox Shocks can get you the eyelets.
Example: Fox 2.0 Coilover Shock Eyelet
You basically mount it wherever you can....it depends on how much of the stock mount get's removed.

For example, the Fox 2.0 shocks use a 5/8 shaft, whereas some shocks use a 1/2" shaft on their 2.0 shocks. My Strange uses 1/2", and they don't make extended rod ends, so I made my own. I can do the same for any brand of shocks, provided I have one to work with. However, when you get into having custom rod ends made, they end up being more expensive than the ones you can buy already, and it negates the savings you may have by getting the cheaper shocks.
In the end, you're probably better off getting the Fox.

Hmmm for some reason i cant get a set of foxs built the way i want for under 1k , 500 in options adds up quick. Looks like im giving king a call to enquire about custom jobs if they are close in price ill pull the trigger put down a deposit and let you guys know prices part numbers and the such.
Edit sent an email asking about 5 inch travel internal bypass remote resi 2.0s 5/8 shaft, foam bumps on shaft with green ano, with 600lb springs billet nylon slyders, green alum cover. Gave them foxs description of their rod ends hopefully they have something

When did you get them. They stated that their products wernt the best a few years ago but they worked out the kinks and they would be great for my application. I talked with JD and he said the 6” travel with 3” rod ends would be fine compared to foxs 6.5” and 4.488” rod ends. Yall think I should have them make a set of rod ensa that are about 4.5” long like foxs, or add in the .5” that foas are shorter than foxs for a length of 4.488+.5” so a total of 4.988” long rod ends? Or do you I think I will have a problem with the 6 inch travel with 3 inch extension rod ? I'm having the order put in tomorrow.

Yes, it is a lot of info to go through, but I would still recommend going through it. This is not a small or cheap project and you can get through it in about an hour if you skip the chit chat.
That said, I had begun working on a project of gathering all the relevant info and putting it into one document to be read all in one place without extra chat. However, I haven't finished it, as I haven't done my install and just in general havent had time to add to it. If you want to see what I have so far, there is a link in my sig to the pdf which has most of the info you are looking for. Hope that helps.
