Good luck with the tps. When you crank it after it sits for a little while, does it take more than one turn of the key or does it usually just fire up? If it was losing fuel pressure it would probably take more than one turn of the key because the fuel pump wouldnt have pumped enough fuel to the inectors yet. Fords have a preset to pump for 1 second everytime you turn the key on.

Which oxgen sensors are you talking about, the front or the rear set? The rear set have 100% nothing to do with how your engine runs. They're only there to monitor the performance of the catalytic converters for OBDII.

From personal experience, I would suggest only getting a TPS sensor from Ford and not the zone.

Nope starts up first turn of the key everytime.

Sorry to hear you are having so many little problems.

How are the headers working out, did you determine why they are hitting ?

Well then i guess you can rule out the leaky injector. Unless a slow slow leak can cause that many codes to be thrown, which is very unlikely in my eyes.

tps is blocked by ac condensor so its lil more to it that a simple swap. gay. Fridays project now.

Need coilover springs baadd. front end sagging a good 3-4 inches lower. went from cali style to rake. and i hate rake.

Is my odometer going to work when i get around to fixin the speedo?

more signs of the TPS being faulty. noticed lately sometimes wheil driving the rpm gauge will bounce a bit but very rarely.

The odometer is driven by the same motor that runs the speedo. If it worked before, then it will when you get the speedometer working again.

RPM does not in any way read from the TPS.

WELL. replaced the TPS. still lopes a little bit at a stop but then adjusts itself. same when in park. Still wont start up without feathering the gas, However, drove it around and the CEL is staying off. so ill double check and see if theres any codes. so i guess thats good lol

I may have said this before......but I had to unhook my battery for a few minutes so my computer could reset when I replaced my MAF and TPS....because it ran the same until I did that....just a thought

Yeah +1

Unhook the neg terminal and then turn on your headlight switch for like 10 seconds, thats the fastest way to reset it. I did the TPS on my truck and it was idleing high until I did that.

Well that's good!! At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnell now. Just unhook the battery and test that out and hopefully tht will solve it all.
Congrats on pretty much being done with the swap. Pretty sick ranger!

Feather it like bad iac? Cause when I broke the connector off mine with my shock cross bar it did the same thing to me. Only ran good once it warmed up a bit with some throttle.

Hopefully you can reset the comp and be good to go!
