I will do my best to get her washed by the end of the weekend. I only have time to work on her home in the afternoon so my time is limited. Gonna drive her over to autozone today to check the code and see what the heck is wrong now. Im acutally getting tired of it, yea its all worth it in the end crap and etc if it EVER gets completely done. very frustrating and diesheartening at times lol

AHHH Finally!!! She runs!! Pulled codes from autozone p1152 air/fuel someting and of course the speed sensor code. shifts..ok, kinda stiff and hard but not too bad due to speedo not working its shifting off points only instead of realtime and its prolly a little low on fluid. B cam does cause a bit of idle issue on initial start up. takes about 10 seconds or so of runtime to adjust or else when she goes into reverse she just stalls. Idles about 1k. seems high but guessing that bcam so bumpy in the auto it has to.other than that it drives GREAT. TONS of power!! I honestly cant imagine why Ford never invested putting these in there.

I average 18-20 MPG in and around town....but I cant keep my foot out of it either......but I got 25MPG on my long road trip to Virginia a couple of months ago. Its sooo dang hard not to blow by slow drivers......All the time!! Everytime I fill up I tell myself Im gonna take it easy and try to get a good idea of my MPG\'s... but I never stick to it.

well first full day of driving. idles good sometimes and then other times it doesnt and wants to stall. maybe funky MAF idk yet. shifting hard and late, need to get that adjusted. and def EATING gas. I might have gone 80 miles total and already gone through a half tank! something aint right there. however it sounds great and runs id say 95 percent. but like i said before 65-70 mph im at about 2300 rpms

The Engine still acted funny when I first started it after I swapped back to factory so I unhooked the Battery cables so the computer would reset and its been fine ever since!

I used the original MAF that came in my 2003 4.0 Ranger. Same part number as a 99 5.0.

Well picked up a new mass air but.. that hole i tried to fill came undown so threw that code again, went into limp mode after that, came home tried new stuff and reset ECM to check that stuff in the AM and wipe out code for new mass air. but all in all once these bugs are worked out its gonna be worth great.

Aight I think that about wraps it up for running issues. new mass fixed the issues. still idles funky with this be cam but no more stalling and my gas mileage went back to normal! thank god! she needs a bath desperately and a few more things to button up..

Wat size are the bolts that hold that cosmetic 5.0 plate on the intake? i lost them of course.
