6.0 Powerstroke in a ranger
Well, here is the basics. Got there yesterday and tried to crank it over. Unfortunately I have 12.7 volts at the battery that drops to 10.7 while cranking....no biggie, but by the time it gets to the starter I have a 12.7 to 6.4 volt drop. I am using 1 gauge wire, but today I am going to a welding supply store and getting welding cable. Tired of messing with the BS. LOL I will also be mounting the ALT today to the frame rail. And finally hooking up the nitrous and water injection lines, and filling the bottles.

I'm going to take a swing at this and say space. I mean a Ranger with a 6.0 in it isn't going to have much space for anything.
That and I talked to Mike Wood owner of Nitrous Express, he has a mustang with a Duramax in it, with no IC, and said his temps never get hot. He runs water also. If I need one, Joe Hellman will be building it.
gotcha, i was just curious. im ready to see this thing move! hurry up!
i dont want to steal his thunder but she's runnin!
