Got the ALT mounted today.......It was a ****. But it looks great. Of course like everything on the truck, the Belt I needed was not available and had to be ordered.

Also mounted up and wired the Snow Water meth controller.

Reason for smoke/leak:

Any idea if this motor could be daily driven/is reliable? I know you said this would be the first 6.0 to break 1k-HP, so I'm just wondering if you know what it would be like for anything but a track engine?

Thanks & truck looks & sounds amazing!

Well I got it out today for a while. I re-bled the brakes, but I am far from happy with the results. I will be changing the master cylinder out next week. I wanted to take a quick trip on the street to see how everything did. Unfortunately, I was alone and could only get a quick film to prove it went out. And yes, it was freakin awesome.

Here is the warm up after pulling it out.

And a quick drive through the neighborhood where the shop is at.

When I am 100% sure the exhaust housing is not gonna change on the turbo's. I'm not gonna do it twice just to not have the hood stack on.

I swear this thing hates me. The First master cylinder I bought blew out the seals immediately, obviously a bad core. Today I drove all iver the place, and finally found one 20 miles north of Austin. Drove up there, spent all day refitting it, bled he brakes, the hole enchilada. Got it all set, and #$@%.

Looks like I'll try again tomorrow.

OK, back to some progress pics. Changed out the brake MC to the one recommended by several folks. Got the MAF sensor attached to the intake tube, (no pics), and wired up and plumbed the TS powerfool Nitrous kit. I had to make a bracket as I am officially out of space. LOL There are officially a crap ton of braided lines on this thing now.

Still need a few more fittings to get the Purge line hooked up. so that is the red line hanging.

New brake master cylinder.

I also decided I have spent a ton of time and money doing it right, SOOOO, the dash and the radio panels are at a stereo shop getting fiberglassed in . The Dash will have the SCT extreme monted dead center, and a Gauge on both sides. The radio was removed, as was the Climate control panel, and 3 gauges and a few switches will go in the radio section, and three gauges where the climate controls were.
