Sealed up the leak around the rear window and third break light, replaced third brake light.
Also changed the oil and spark plugs.
Today was a Good Day!

Removed and cleaned out IAC valve, topped up power steering fluid, replaced water in the radiator with antifreeze.

looked at it sitting in the driveway, both shifts of work cancelled for today. hopefully it will be back on the road tommarrow. i spent 2 hours chipping away at the driveway with a shovel then blowing the ice debris into the street. more tired and sore than i would have been after a 8 hour shift at work. hands recieved so much shock i could hardly eat potato chips when i got back in the house. no grip at all.

I have a question for you guys, I'm changing out my front rotors/pads tomorrow for the first time in my life..

I'm broke so I bought the valuecraft rotors from autozone 54029B

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...7_172972_4825_

Is this going to be a pain to install ? I opened the box tonight and realized it wasn't just the rotor but the "Rotor/hub assembly"

Will this be harder to install ?

had took off my rear mud flaps because one side of the l.h. braket had broken, was on my way home from work and this pontiac was on my tail, i turned onto a slushy street and hit the gas hard, forgetting about no mud flaps. i was looking in my rearveiw mirror when i saw my truck splatter the hell out of his headlights and up the windshield. bet he doesnt follow as closely next time. fixed my frozen wipers, the real fine snow we had the other night had filled up where the arm linkage is for the wipers, they went up and stopped. once i figured out why they werent working i heated up a gallon of winshield washer fluid and poured it into the grate over the wiper linkage. wish all fixes were this simple.

post your own thread about questions like these.

No. Brakes are almost as easy as changing the oil.

It was missing really bad and they say I dropped a cylinder. I'm probably gonna take it to another shop. Cuz I really don't think it's that. I just think the heads need to be reworked.

I'd say it's worth it compared to the damage not doing it can cause. ;D
