All of these cost big $$$, and don't even start to get into the other driveline components that will need upgrading for the increased power & torque!!
true, but the other, smaller bolt on parts that are on the market also help.....just because someone goes with a stroker kit, doesn't mean they can't add the smaller items for other gains.......the 3 items you listed above is NOT the only power adders to any engine.....there are other PROVEN parts that work.......

by what you said above, swapping in an aluminum aftermarket lower intake manafold on a small block Chevy wont do anything worth while....or swapping in a 4 barrel carb in place of the old 2 barrel isn't worth the effort.....or swapping out the stock, restrictive exhaust for a more free flowing exhaust isn't worth it

you have some things backwards....

Its quicker then some of those dusty old ' race cars ' you happen to own out of the box.

.

Have you heard the phrase "Some people never grow up"?

For your information, I don't own any "race cars"!

It's a shame you you got sucked into the Scamsoil cult!!!!

It's a shame your father didn't teach you any better!!! If he had, you wouldn't have fallen for the Scamsoil BS!!!!!!

Why would I run Scamsoil when I've gotten more mileage out of my vehicles
running dino oil, than you have paying for Scamsoil, and paying for shipping and UOA??????

^^^ This is nonsense. First off, I don't pay for shipping. Second my AMSOIL cost no more than mobile 1. My father taught me plenty and thats why I have what I have today, nice truck nice house and a good job.

narrow minded know it all people like you are whats wrong with society now a days. I suggest you hold your tongue when you don't know what your talking about. Your age alone doesn't give you credit around here. Just because most people on the forum are younger than you doesn't mean you still can't learn a thing or two from them....

That was the point I was trying to make in the Oil thread!! For what you pay for shipping, and UOA, you could change your oil with an API certified dino, wouldn't have to worry if the oil was good, your engine would stay cleaner, and you could save $$$$

I do save money. I don't pay for the shipping on the oil itself and I only do 1 full oil change a year! I don't understand why you aren't getting that. I do the filter at 5K and top it off with oil and do a full change at 25K. So I only get a UOA done once a year....

You posted that this cost you $100 / year. You can change your oil with an API certified dino every 5K miles for less than $100!!

Why even get it tested at 25K miles? if the report comes back bad, it's a little too late.....

If a standard oil change costs 20 bucks with a filter over 25,000 miles it comes out to 100 dollars if you drive 25k a year, thats the same as what I pay with less oil to empty and dispose of. and I get the added benefit of better fuel economy....

No, you can get a gallon, and 2 quarts of Pennzoil, and a motorcraft oil filter at Advance Auto parts for about $16. So, that's $80 / year.....you could save $20
