so the parental units are leaving on thursday for 10 days... this should give me ample time to build the truck up..
here is a short to-do list, probably missing some stuff.
- Get 1TON Axles
- tear out old axles
- remove coil suspension
- rear leaf mount
- hang front leafs
- re-inforce front bumper and crossmember
- trim engine crossmember
- 1 piece driveshaft
- mount winch
- build flatbed
etc..
i also need u-bolts for the front and rear

hahah i have been thinking about making a flatbed for sometime now. My bed is trashed making the bobbing of it super difficult to get things lined up, plus i need new taillights anyways cause they are broke out too.. another thing is when i finally get around to building a cage, he flatbed will be a good base and easy to build off of.

then started working on the front suspension. messed around with the hangers and shackle angle, got it pretty decent i think... just under 45* with the weight on it. running expo rear leafs up front (56 inches long).. took out the overload, but maybe ill put it back in later? anyways.. then cut out the old coil buckets and tacked on the shackle hanger... i still need to brace it for more strength... still on the hunt for a 60!!
