Looks like you might need to check the axle seal on the right side axle tube too while you're going through the 8.8.

that truck has no tow hooks front or rear and got stuck bad, they put the strap around the axle and pulled the driveshaft apart!

he learned a hard lesson that day!

thanks dad.

going from the 9" brakes to the 10" brakes, the difference is night and day, when i slam on the brakes it stops now vs before it would just kinda slide to a stop.

the truck also seems to have a little more pep to it because of the gears.

edit: oh and my speedometer is only 2mph slow now vs before it was off 6 or more.

haha nice, your still running a 7.5, want to buy a lock-right?

i got a good deal on the 8.8, and my dad had 4.10 gears from his truck.

the truck seems faster with the 4.10 gears.

lol yeah, i plan to be running 35's by the middle of summer, i can't wait.

oh and the d30 uses the single piston calipers, and the front of my truck has dual piston calipers right now, im sure thats going to suck a little.

oh well it will be worth it.
