yeah me too, started her up and moved it outside, got the body bolted back down and picked up my steel. just need to go get some gas here in a few. since I had to use adapters in the rear i might have to kick out the back of the glass a bit to stuff the tire all the way. that and/or a little trimming of the edge of the glass that sticks to the inside. it just looks like it will hit so far if i line the bedsides up strait, but i'll have to see as I start hanging them. might work on a front bumper today still, waiting on doing the rear till I get the glass on. That way i can run some tube under the edge of the glass for a little protection.

hah yeah I like it naked also. but this way i can drive it around town..and hopefully by sunday i can drive it around and take it to work monday!

got the front all tied in and started the bumper. I'm going to start on the bumper again in the morning and finish that so the whole front end is all done. I got half my mounting done for the rear, just need to run the tubes from the truck to the bedside plates I have bolted on. I'll hopefully have some good progress pics by mid day tomorrow.

yeah I'll make it work. If i have problems I'll have to take the adapters off and get the axles redrilled to 5x4.5 so I can cut back on width some. But it was either 6" or 10"..and 10" would be way too big. if they made something in between that'd be great

Thanks guys, its getn there. Didnt get as much done as I wanted to but in the next couple days it will be done. Little bit to do on the front bumper, and then need a couple people to hold the bedsides while I cut and weld in the tube for them.

Love it!

And I know how you feel mounting bedsides... that's the most loathed of all fabrication activities for me. I hope to never have to mount a bedside again! haha. (I've done it three times, alone)

They are fiberglass. They look even cleaner now that they are bolted in place. I also picked up a car canopy cheap so I can keep it dry when out of the garage, and work on it when its raining.
