DWB 4x4 LT
got some work done today. Got the inner fenders cut for tire stuffage. Also got the rear shocks out and on the bench for rebuild. still lots to do before next tuesday, but i think I can pull most of it off.
before: pulled the shock so I could get full bump

after: got plenty of room now,had to move and make a bracket for the abs module for now. ran out of gas in the welder so thats as far as I got with it.

well I lived, was pretty hot but I drank a lot of water. Got the rear shocks on the bench and swapped the shims and took out the bleed screws. should handle the slower speed bumps etc much better now. Just need to get them charged after work tomorrow. I'm also picking up a set of pretty much new 5-point belts, so hopefully I can get my *** in gear on throwing some seat mounts and belt hoop in.
off the truck

shaft out

rubber gloves are always good for something

shafts stripped and ready to put back together

ready for Nitro

Also worked on the Pass. side front inner fender clearance. Looks like I dont need to cut near as much, just some out of the front under where the stock air box would be. The Pass. side fender must be higher cause its doesnt even touch at full bump in the middle like the drivers side did. It clears by and inch But I like the smooth rolled fender that is there so I'm not touching it. which in turn means I can leave the coolant rez. pretty much where its at.

still together. rear end cycles much better after the rebuild. the front I think needs some work. its a bit too soft. might need to bump up my comp. so It doesnt bottom out so easy off big hits
just a little video mainly for checking out how my front and rear cycle. not any huge hucks or anything just enough to get an idea. I think my rear end is working good now, but I think my front end needs some more compression, pre-load or a heavier spring etc

Such a bad *** truck bud. I really don't like the prerunners as there are so many fake ones out here, but your's is built right. I think i have seen it on another site too, (or maybe this one, hell i dunno) and just remember talking about you having race tires in MN. lol. Love it man. Keep up the good work.
