oh yeah you'll have to do that too, I had to twice cause after I did my long travel rear I had to give myself some more play.
Finally got some of my fuel system stuff in, so hopefully I can get at finishing most of that this weekend. I still dont have a couple -6AN that are suppose to ship the 14th,and the fuel cell straps should be here tomorrow.
Here is my pile of goodies. I'll be tapping right into the hardline right where it meets the frame rail, driverside wheel well.
-pile of AN fittings
-steel braided fuel line
-trick flow fuel filters
-trick flow bypass regulator
-high flow/pressure fuel pump
-15gal sump alum. fuel cell

yeah what's the deal? i only clicked post once.
I should be ok,just have a couple strong weekends to get it ready to put back together. just need the weather to hurry up and get warm. need to degrease and paint everything, get some new cv boots put on my axles and finish the fuel system. there are a few other things i "want" to do but may have to save that for after the trip, when i have a house/garage to tear it down again. I want to plate the frame, build motor up,full cage etc.

Got the fuel cell mount done. Had to change up the spare carrier by adding a tube to keep it from hitting the fuel cell, because of where I wanted it. Only problem I may have with where I put the cell is the rear axle at full compression hitting the bumpstops. From what I can tell it maybe have a half-inch of space or may Tap it. So I may have to get some new bumpstops that are an inch longer or so. I cant really move the cell up anymore cause it will hit the bedcage. I didnt want to put it right next to the cab for weight distribution reasons,so I hope this works out.
Picked up a Optima yellow top today, and have a BTF optima battery box mount on the way. Also have a fuel gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some brake line parts and a battery cable junction box for the existing cables to connect to the relocation cables.

Its a 15 Gal cell,The parts I pieced together from summit. All said and done it was 900+. It's a lot cheaper if you were doing it for a carb'd car/truck. The high psi pump, and regulator are not cheap, nor is a high quality aluminum fuel cell.
