Any deets on what power plant as such you're planning on going with?
Not entirely sure yet, probably just rebuild the 302 or build up a new one maybe bored out a little with a few extra goodies. Or get creative and fit something else in :)

Daily'd it in the winter :( and hit the passenger mirror on a tree the other day backn it up so that's broke. So mainly its just rusty and the aluminum on the shocks has some corrosion. F'n salt!

It's a little upsetting to see how mistreated it was.

Now get to work

yeah the paint on it was a pretty crappy quick coat that was barely meant for rain driving and sitting out of the elements. it already had spots starting when I had it, I figured the salt would have a hay day.

it'll all get cleaned and painted. I'm not sure about mirrors yet. I may just make some aluminum plates to cover the spot and mount some smaller race mirors off them. or some ranger flag mirrors. I dont need anything super flashy on it, but if I found a good deal on newer ones I'd probably run them. if I go flag mirrors or similar manual mirrors then I can gut the electric crap out too

I also think when I go to repaint the whole truck I may plasti-dip the whole thing. and do all the tubing a sweet accent color. like flat black with lime green, or flat blue with white, or flat black with dark silver

dont plastidip. get raptor liner instead and dilute it if you like flat black. you just spray it out of gun that comes with it.

that sucks the guy was going for the downey look. im sure you'll get it back into great shape!

Flat blue or satin/ matte blue would look good. That with like bars/accents would look good.

Flat black w/ green is too monster/brah truck for me...

I've got Raptor liner in my bed and wheel wells. Its terribly easy to make a color too. you can order the clear one or something like that, and add some paint to it and spray it on.

That poor truck. Its nice to see it back where it belongs man. that kid really beat on it, huh?

Sounds interesting I'll look into it. Im sure about major beating It. But the winter kicked it's ***. The motor could have been a time bomb anyways, could have went on me too. I think it might be rings and piston slop making the noise. Cause I smell some blowby

Those motors we're known to shoot rings. they'd line up just right and wham, get shot.

Only thing I don't like about using raptor liner is tge texture. Im not really sure I want that, I like the smooth look of plasti dip, and you can get a plasti dip car kit with a gun and more colors

I'm a big fan of a yellow and black (who would have guessed right)? Either way, good to see it back in your hands.

I will get you a good picture of what my bed looks like. It only looks like there is texture, there isn't a ton to be honest.
