Thanks Doods!

Started plumbing tonight. But I realized I should have got some -8AN 90* fittings to hug the fuel cell and stay out of the way better. I was short 2 -8AN fittings anyways becuase I got 2 more -6AN fittings than I needed so I'm going to order up the 90s and it should fit and look real nice. Had to get a little creative making a mount for the bypass regulator to fit where I wanted. Since the bypass exits at the bottom and the adjustment is at the top. Because I wanted it inside the frame rail I had to make a mount to push it out enough to gain access to it.

Anyways..here are a couple pics of the start. should have a lot more to show in the next couple days.

Where I need my 90's to hug that tube and the cell. Also need one for the bottom of the regulator for returning back down the frame rail into back around into the sump. The pump mounts look crooked because I had to tweak the mounting tabs to follow the funny round area in the frame rail.

Just a pic of the regulator all ready to go with the gauge attached.

I just hope my motor holds out for the trip till I can rebuild it. It's going to knock a little and burn some oil..but the truck will look good haha

Have the guys in the body shop stick the IDS on it and take it for a ride. they'll see right away if somethings up.

you might also want to change fluid and add a bit of TransTune to it.

4x4 Low in second when hill climbing.

4x4 high in regular drive (not OD) when regular driving around.

you don't actually.

I did the majority of SL in 2wd because of a busted vacuum line

yeah every truck is different. rob could get around as good as me in 4x4 when he was 2wd. depending on the drag of your front end,the real soft sand you can't get anywhere in 2wd. it's all in the wheel spin...and perfect tire pressure..tires etc. seems like you either need paddles or an A/T. sometimes an M/T will get you stuck more than help

I got air on a stock tbar setup. Twice. It's not the end of the world, it's just something you don't wanna do over and over. It sounds like you are going out there to jump your truck over everything. Just drive natural we have guys going (not including me) who have gone the last 5 years. Listen to what they say and you'll be driving your truck home in one piece. The sand is constantly changing so pay attention to it and you'll be fine.
