It's actually a 83 Suzuki Tempter. Gonna be sort of a café/street fighter deal. Has an adjustable mono shock design, building off that.

Cool. I had a Suzuki Savage when I was in Japan.. little one cylinder thumper. Those were popular for cafe racers and bobbers. Motors just won't die either.

haha the house killed it. But with the nice tax return soon, I'll have a motor in it soon. After that it'll come together nicely.

most of the time it's around 40,which is pretty good for how big it is. But when it starts to get really cold outside like -15,its about 25 or so. But still a pretty good difference in temp.

Yeah I didn't have a whole lot in the way so it wasn't too bad to put up. I plan on getting it rocked too,to finish it off. Then just primer white everything for nice light.

worked on it a little tonight. Pulled all the wiring, brake lines, fuel lines and anything else on the frame that needed to go. Started cleaning the frame up to get ready for plating it up and paint when the time comes. Still have to tear the front/rear down and start chop'n and replacing the cross-members but that will be a little later. guy is coming to look at the front and rear kits this weekend, so I needed to leave it on for now. (probably going with the new BTF 4x4 race kit, or 2wd IDK yet, And I'm linking the rear)

Hopefully picking up a 5.3 or 6.0(that's right I'm doing it, sue me! haha,Just getting my HP for the money) soon and then I can get the mounts made and drop it on the frame and start the build up from there and get the cab on and cage it. Then I can cut the frame off and start my back-half. Can't wait to start running tube and burn'n some steel. I have been wanting to re-do all my welds and tube work forever...looks like poop cause I was in a hurry, not anymore! get'n done right, slow and sexy :)

You can see I under-estimated my crossbar for my fuel cell mount, I knew it would be close...but it self-clearanced :)

getting stripped down and cleaned

and just a gopro shot. finally picked one up

Sweet garage! Is that a miller 211 I see sitting there? From what I've heard those BTF kits are pretty rad. You gonna use the same link set up as BLK02?

About 3-4" of travel, boxed uca's, and a fabricated knuckle /spindle

Yeah it's a 211,works awesome. Have a spool gun for aluminum and works pretty good. But only for heavier aluminum. thin sheet or tube you really need tig.

As far as link setup, it's either going to be BTF,SI Motorsports, or Griffen Fab Works in MI,he's cranking out some nice stuff.

That's what I have heard about the spool gun. I have a miller 211 myself that I love and have been debating over getting the spool gun for it.

That's good to hear. I was thinking about getting one because I've read good things about them. I have a lot of experience with stick welding so I think I could pick up mig pretty quick

haha thanks guys! I do love my garage.

Yeah It's my first 220 welder and it welds awesome for its size. much easier being a good welder using the right machine heh. nice that it has the option to switch between both 110 and 220 if I ever need it to as well. The spool gun worked great on my fishhouse ski project, which was mostly 1/8 wall or better tube, and 1/4" plate. Takes some practice and setting fudging, but once you get it down it's very useful.

Good to know on the spool gun, I bought my 211 because it was 220 and 110 capable. Ran it 110 for the first year then wires in a 220 outlet and it make a huge difference.
