DWB 4x4 LT
yeah i cant wait! should be a week or so for the rear and 2-2-1/2 for the front. so hopefully that will give me a week to get it on and comfy and then drive it a little before the dunes trip.
Matt I thought you saw, yeah I got a pro bender 3, air over hydro with a 240* 1-1/2 die. It takes jd2 dies and I guess protools work too.

Geez I need to catch up on this thread and see what is going on!
I like the ear plugs though too. lol
A pilot examiner that I use to use had custom earplugs made like that with noise filters to filter out certain harmful frequencies from helicopters, he loves them.

just a grinding wheel and then a flap disc after
yeah they work/fit great since its made for my ear
just going tube with bedsides. I wouldnt want to hide all my fresh frame grinding! haha
yeah we make some really cool ones for shooting with special electronics in them so you can hear voices good but cancels out the bad gunshot frequencies

I never understood why everyone mounts dual spares like that. I understand the point for actual desert racers who are a hundred miles from a support crew but not for someone just going to tear it up at the dunes. Just a few thoughts, build looks great though.
yeah its needed for weight, especially when you are running leafs and I dont have a fuel cell so I need a little weight out back for weight in the woops and in the air. I was going to mount them flat but I like them upright for now.
saves space and doesnt look funny.
Oh duh didn't even think about weight, that makes total sense. Learn something new every day!
Playing the waiting game sucks. The gaint kit comes next week as well as my fiberwerx fenders. The dbr comes in two weeks. I'm waiting on a guy on d-r to figure out a price on shipping some shocks. They are 16" stroke saws with a lower mounted piggyback resi valved for a ranger. So as soon as I get those I can get the tube going.

Just a small update: Got a few things in the last week or so and should be getting the Giant kit by the end of the week and my rear shocks mid next week. I gave Aaron a call at dbr but I had to leave a message and he didnt get back to me today. I was just going to call and check up on how its going and see if he has a better idea on time. And also see what he figured out for shocks.
picked up some 35" spares on aluminum rims for $75 they are buckshots but will work fine sitting on the back of the truck

Got some tabs, caps and weld washers from Ruff Stuff

Got my 6" Fiberwerx fenders, one has a chip and bubbles in it and I'm in the process of working something out. either credit towards some rears or some cash back. **** aint cheap to get out this far so I expected flawless fiberglass for $450 but thats just me I guess.

sitting on the truck

cut the ear off the front, you wont need it, its for a more "factory look" with the factory bumper..there 6" fibers....not gonna look terribly factory as it is lol.
my buddys had a chip in one and a bubble in the other when he got his from fiber werx....there still white and have a ton more chips now, but if you paln on painting them the chip and bubble wont ever be noticed... lil bit of res for the chip and sand the bubble and your golden
