Looks great man! Nice work too.
Yeah, it's whine is actually quieter then I thought it would be! lol

Haven't exactly punched it or anything, but decent throttle and I heard it, but it wasn't what I imagined.

Thanks for the vote of confidence - I think the extra time on the details really paid off.

Yesterday I purchased a new code scanner that can read live data. It also diagnoses ABS and SRS codes (if available).

INNOVA 3160B ABS/SRS+ Professional CanOBDII Diagnostic Code Scanner with Enhanced Live Data ($199.00):

What are the odds we'll get vids from the drive or test and tune?

I'm sure I could get something put together.

Probably won't be from the tuning session though - he's requested the truck for a solid week.....

Well today I ordered a rather nice coilover spring compressor. :D

This should help me take some of the load off my setup when adjusting the collars or during a spring change.

Yeah, that's what I'm used to hearing online. Perhaps outside the truck it's louder than I think.

I hear the whine from inside the cab when I accelerate 'hard', but it doesn't seem anywhere close to as loud as that.

I did some basic datalogging today and I'm hitting 5.7 psi, which isn't bad at all up here (over 5,000 feet above sea level) so I know it's doing it's job (I think)!

Also just wait until its tuned. You will love it!

So ever since you asked about this last week - I've been wondering about a new exhaust setup...lol

Damn you!

I still need it to pass emissions and everything, but I've been trying to find out information about 'true duals'. Basically running new from my headers onward. I guess I'm just not 100% sure about the catalytic converters (quantity & placement), crossover pipe info, pipe size & all that good stuff - basically needing to learn about 95% of it! lol

I usually have pretty high & picky standards (if you couldn't tell - lol), so I hate just to bring it to an exhaust shop and let them do whatever they want. I want to specify what & how I want it done.

Currently I have JBA headers & the true stainless steel catback kit from Magnaflow (Part #15773) - which uses a 2.5" O.D. setup.

I like how it sounds now - because I'm not a fan of an overly loud exhaust. I do like a low rumble though - but nothing loud & crazy.

I want a high quality, performance sound - not a cheap 'hacked together' type setup.

Any thoughts or ideas for our trucks specifically?

I guess the question is, are true duals going to give a performance advantage? I know on a stock truck it's not beneficial. I'm not sure what performance gains you have been seeing or expect to see in the future when you bore it out to a 4.2, put in a nice lopey cam, and crank up the boost.

But I'm guessing you might actually see some gains with your upgrades?

Properly tuned a higher flowing exhaust will be beneficial. I think if each pipe has a high flow cat you can satisfy the O2 sensors. Do you have 4 sensors?

Yeah, that too. lol

I'm not sure, but I'd bet my current setup (headers & catback) is doing pretty well as it is.

Strictly going off of the Ford service manual - I believe I have three total.

Two heated oxygen sensors - near the manifold & pre-cat (The two item #2's) and another oxygen sensor after the last catalytic converter (Item #6).

I'll be getting everything ready for the tuner this weekend.

I've got to make a 'cheat sheet' with all the supercharger related upgrades so he knows what he's dealing with.
