the adapters are from a jeep wrangler. they were like 30 bucks, the shocks were made from fox with the bushings in them (both ends). they are 6.5" travel, which makes them 18.8 inches long without the adapter. ORW (off road warehouse) pressed in the dogbone on the lower arm, which is from a Toyota FJ. the dogbone slots needed to be a bit deeper, so i took an angle grinder to them. it works well for what it is, MUCH better than any shock ive ever had.
sry for the big pics, im too lazy to shrink them

I know the adapter is a bit tweeked, but it works!

total cost, around 320, so its a cheap way to get fox!

it took me a month to get them tho, even tho the fox factory is only a few miles from me

and so is bilstein...

Definitely the body lift bro, that's why I refuse to put them on cus it shifts around when you offroad.

All suspension FTW.

I hate to say it, but Rangers are cheap trucks. Theyre made to be fleet vehicles and cheap work trucks. The fit and finish off the production line just isnt perfect. When i bought my new truck, the bed wasnt "perfectly" flush to the sides of the cab (it sticks out a little more on the right).

I wouldnt worry about it.

Update

Hey Kyle,

I kinda have the same setup as you but my fabricator made my mounts under the LCA. I had him make the hole through the LCA a little big bigger to fit the bottom of the shock through to mount it.

This is how it looks under the LCA:

It works alright and haven't had any issues with it yet, I need to crank my torsion bars back up but I don't want uneven tire wear :(

Looking to get some 35's now and get rid of these 32's too since I got my 4:56's.

if you went flying down a dirt road and the truck sits perfect then that means the body bolts are loose and need to be tightened. it shouldnt move at all.

Mine is the same way too. Took it to the dealer and nothing was wrong. It's about an inch lower than the drivers side. Doesn't affect anything so I just learned to live with it.
