installed a pioneer aftermarket stereo then had to take it to ford to see why the check engine light came on. it turns out the mechanic at the place i took it too to change the plugs cross-threaded the #3 plug to such a degree that it wasnt even halfway down in there and was causing that cylinder to not fire right. they removed the plug and retapped the cylinder and i was up and running again. im never going back to that place again lol
Finally mounted my CB.
And washed the truck, it's been dirty for a few weeks now because of all the rain and storms we had move through. My truck is always reaaaaallly dirty when we have big rain come through. :-P

Drove it home from the airport.... poor think had a DB9 parked next to it when I got to it... If I had a DB9 I sure as hell wouldn't have parked it in long term parking at an airport, what was that driver thinking ????
Monday is my only day off so I'm going to do the first mod to my new Ranger.I'm going to get the windows tinted if I can find someone to do 5% on the front and back with 20% on the sides.I probably need to take a good pic from the front for an avatar.
got the tires i blew out the other day replaced and on the way home had to dodge a dog in the road and mauled one of those reflectors that identify the edge of the roadway. i was very suprised that it didnt do anything but put some gouges in the paint which were covered quickly with touch up paint
Finally, finally, FINALLY got my 02 FX4 running!!!!
It was down for the longest time because of clutch issues. It turns out I got a bad slave cylinder from Summit Racing. Bummer.
Put a new slave cylinder in, Centerforce clutch, POR-15 the front and rear driveshafts, new crossmember, all new hardware, and ended up having to tear it all back apart again just to replace a brand new slave cylinder.
Well, after I got it all back together today, I took it for a ride and I was so happy to have my truck back that I was nearly in tears

So then, I went to Subway to celebrate lol.
On the way back, I'm at a stop light and there's this 2000~ish Grand Prix in the passing lane. Well, I'm watching the light and out of the corner of my eye, I see the passenger in the Grand Prix give me a look. Well the driver was watching the light, same as me, and he did a false start. I thought... OH REALLY!?!?. Ok if that's how it's going to be... BAM light turns green and the guy got a car lengths lead on me. Meanwhile, I'm still back there trying to hook up in first gear... Screw it.. I floored it though first and second and I started catching up. I thought to myself "NO WAY I'm losing this!" Kept it floored and slid my foot sideways off the clutch at every shift. By third, I was half a car length ahead of the guy so I kept on it. I could tell he was still trying, but by now, it's either win, or back off and merge to avoid hitting oncoming traffic! So by now I'm redlining 3rd and I guess I'm doing 60? (in a 25 mph zone...) Slammed it into 4th and the punk *** backed off!! NEW CLUTCH (and 4 brand new tires) FTW!
