The "What did you do to your Ranger today" thread
Ha, can't be any bigger than mine.
Anyways not today but more like 2 weeks ago. I picked a brushgaurd off of a 95 explorer at the junkyard for $30 and installed it on my truck.

Today, nothing. Tomorrow, hope to be replacing my clutch with the new Centerforce Clutch from Summit Racing. Also, need to replace alternator and rear shocks.
I'm also considering an aftermarket audio setup. Wouldn't even know where to begin with that.

Not so much today but in the past week ive done a bit of work
Got me some alcoas. sanded them, polished them

Finally got my manual t case mounted up. Sloppy console I know, I have a better idea in the works

And found some rust spots I had to deal with

I am happy with how it turned out, First time doing body work ever and using a crappy flux core wire feed welder.

Thought so, I have another idea cooking for the console as this one is not the best looking by any means. Worst case I may relocate the shifter to the left and have it just kinda skim the bottom of the cup holder on the side.
I know how you feel. I don't even know where my tail pipe is at. LOL. One of my buddies last weekend was like where your tail pipe at. All I had to say was, WHAT? I haven't wheeled in a month and I don't think I caught it on anything, the only thing I can remember catching it on something was in May when I did a little late snow wheeling
Anyways today I looked at it, called it a POS and drove it to school.

Didn't get to my clutch, but I did get both outer tie rod ends put on (wow were they BAD), as well as a new alternator.
Old alternator was on it's way out, but it didn't fix the problem. Turns out the fusible link on the wiring harness was totally corroded. Jimmy rigged it for now until I can find a suitable replacement.
