How long did the clutch last? Was it the slave cylinder that went out?

As for big difference when driving it, you got that right. Went from rev matching the downshifts to driving normally. If I didn't get it into first at a stop, it wouldn't go into first until I shut the truck off and waited the input shaft stopped turning. The clutch was dead. Well, the pressure plate fingers actually were the problem, according to the service writer.

One more thing... crawl under your truck and make sure they zip tied the wiring harness up and out of the way onto the factory tab thingys that are at the top of the transmission, and make sure the bell housing plug is there.

When I got mine back, they did not put a bell housing plug in and did not tie the wiring harness up like they should've. That could've been a problem as it was letting the wiring harness hang perilously close to the front driveshaft.

Nice, my truck will be there by the end of the year the way my mileage is going. Running strong and hopefully hits the half a million mile mark.

As for me, I got pissed at it today as the damn windows stopped working when they were all the way down when I got back from lunch at work. So when I got home at midnight I sat in the driveway trying to figure it out so I can roll the windows up and go to bed knowing someone can't just reach into my truck. Turns out the damn power wire broke inside the door jam. Ran a temp power wire out of the door jam just so I could roll the windows up for the night. Tomorrow looks like I will be fishing a new wire through the door jam.

did the airbox mod for the heck of it. 3 things:

1. Unnoticeable at normal driving RPM's

2. It sounds AWESOME above 3000+ rpm

3. My truck now feel's like it has turbo lag when stepping on the gas from a stop

I remember putting aem intake on my 03 ranger and was pissed cuz I lost a lot of bottom end. :-( your right, it does sound cool though. the 4.10s help the low end power loss though. :-/ Power break, launch, good till 2k rpm, from 2k -3k seems like it takes forever and then 3k on you get a smile. lol

Yup pretty much hahaha. It seriously feels like I have turbo lag its hilarious how slow it is to get going. Once it does though, like you said, I get a smile on my face.

We talking about turbo lag like qualities in a normally aspirated vehicle?

Try dumping the exhaust from its 2" manifold downpipe into a straight through glasspack set up, no tailpipe. Ends right under the middle of the car. Did that to the Maxima, and talk about sluggish until 3000 rpm. After 4500, she's hauling *** fast enough to scare people, lol.

Nice present for those in my mirror... they never would've guessed this old car would haul *** like that...

First I fixed the broken wire in my door, I decided I would finally clean up the wiring mess in the door from the power swap, and get everything soldered. I am now completely finished converting my truck over to power everything lol.

Went from this

To This

Also finished gutting my interior out, only thing left in there is the seats, dash and carpet. The passenger door panel I still got to get one without the hole for the window handle and the drivers side one is already black so no need to remove it.

Also while at walmart getting paint, I found some material that is the exact same as the FX4 Lvl2 seats. So I got some and did my arm rest in it. It's got some folds on the exterior of it as the material is a bitch to fold and shape around all the corners, and it was my first time covering one up. But at $5 a sq yrd, I'll redo it one day.

Thanks. I swapped everything over to power almost 2 years ago. Went through and cleaned the wiring up in the passenger door at that time, but lost all motivation to do the drivers door.

Went to the junkyard and scored 2 rubber floors out of a couple single cabs for $11. Can't find any for a extended cab locally and do not want to pay the ridiculous prices I've seen on the internet for some used ones. So I'm gonna take the two and combine them into one tomorrow. I also did this today.

Rear Brake Job.
Had no problems then one of the shoes fell apart.
Replaced everything yesterday, was waiting till this AM to bleed the brakes and decided to replace the drums.
All done, works great so far.

Did this today, installed rubber floor, got the headliner and front half of the truck back together. Still waiting to put the extended part of the cab back together as I am still waiting for my 6x9's to get here and I still need to make boxes for the 8" subs I'm putting where the back seats use to be. Progress on this is gonna be put on hold for a few weeks as I gotta help my dad with his 2 projects and I still gotta order a few more parts.

Lifted the rear with beltech 6400s. Cranked the front.
Was fun and cheap, but now I need bigger wheels/tires!

Bought a new drivers side headlight assembly after having enough of a hose clamp keeping it level....I also got a salvage passenger side in the deal too because I needed one thing off of it, paid $20 for both assemblies with new bulbs!

Also painted my grill black while the front end was all apart...looks great now!
