I got the PowerDome ready to go to paint, dropping it off on monday morning.

 

took it down a dirt road for the first time in a few months. not a fan of mud, its annoying to clean... LOL

Looks better from farther away then super close up. I say keep it!

 

I put on a sunvisor and grill gard om my sons 86 f150 stepside , looks great! Then picked up the motor mound for my ranger, had to be ordered. After looking at a lot of pics on Autozone computer we figured it to be a 88 mustang left side that fits? Something to put in my book to keep record of. Put it in and not easy , no space under there with the 351 winsor. But in and running grate. Today i get to take it out and test it ha ha.

 

Got a phone call from the father in law today and he wants me to come get it out of his driveway. Wife said apparently he doesn't want it... Damn the luck...

 

I recieved my title from the bank today....lien cancelled....hooray no more payments !!!

 

Painted my amp, as it was scratched to **** and out of warranty period. Went with something that would look good and match the red pattern in the fx4 lvl 2 seats and my gauges. Trying to add some red accents to my interior without looking like a ricer is hard.

Undercarriage is now show-ready. I finished painting the frame, got the front RS9000s on, and repainted my brake calipers. The Herculiner was looking a little faded, so u hit the whole bed with a coat of Rustoleum spray-on bedliner--looks much better. Mounted the updated light bar and Hellas, than gave it bath. My first show is the 20th--warmup for Carlisle.

Installed my Mustang Dome light today that I recieved from Clinton. Thanks! I also painted it black because the tan was a little off color and it would have drove me nuts!

My passenger side link went bad and was making noises when driving over speed bumps and any bumps. I replaced both for only $20 per but they have a lifetime warranty on them so I will never have to buy them again.

I also took my Ranger to the dealership today and they flushed and put in new brake fluid and transmission fluid.

I started on replacing my rear brake drums and shoes but didn't get much done. Goal for tomorrow. Also, finishing my Coolant Flush and cleaning my engine again.

 

Painted Ranger XLT emblem and added FX4 Level II stickers since the previous owner removed them.

 

What did you do to prep for the paint on the Ranger Emblem ?

 

All I did was sand it and started with really light coats.

 

Got my truck back from the shop with a new clutch, overall I'm happy with it. I'm just gunna have to relearn my truck all over again.

 

Lightly sanded it, did you remove all of the chrome over the plastic ?

They look good, may do it myself, never thought of it.
