I coated the bottom of my drive-train with about 3 quarts of oil.

I bought an oil change 4 days prior and checked it 3-4 times and driven it 300 some miles when I decided I would take another look underneath while the engine was running. It was spewing oil from somewhere in the engine. I turned the engine off and took a closer look. The freaking filter was loose to the hand! The dipstick didn't show any oil. Bought 5 quarts and after tightening the filter, the engine took 3 to fill.

Just ordered a new Spectre air filter for my ranger. Wanted a high flow re-usable filter, but didn't want to pay $70 for a K&N brand. I got the Spectre brand for $26.90 from summit racing.

Ordered a new coil assembly for my Ranger. Found one on Amazon for only $36.90, and had all 5 star reviews... Worth a shot.

Swapped instrument cluster for one with a tachometer

Swapped my instrument cluster (without tachometer) for one with a tachometer.

No fun doing it. Now that I know the difficulties, would do it again.

I'll post the details later; specifically, the difficult parts and how to make
the process easier. The easiest part: removing the speedometer from the
donor cluster and installing my original speedometer to replace it.

It was a pretty nice day today in Southeast Texas, so I washed it!

She's not all lifted and sexy like everyone else's, but she's pretty damn sweet to me

Washed it, sanded/polished the headlights (they were yellow), and drove it for the first time in 10 days.

My truck is the same too! But mine is an EDGE model so it sits a little higher.
