perfect for use IMO

those are all kinda weak spots....

If it were me, I would either stick it where I do, or on the little cubby thing on your door. I had mine there for a while...I am all about easy access if you know what I mean

I do live in south florida...

lol, ya it was kinda an impule thought and I don't think really though it through, door spot would be good if I didnt have other stuff there.

Mount it to your center console...but reinforce it. I reinforced my C pillar interior plastic using 1/8" steel plate on the back side when I bolted the clips on. Works great, and havn't seen a crack or anything like that yet.

I have mine mounted on my driver side rocker panel plastic just below my seat.

I just found a place here that sells those Maglite holder clips. Before that it was only on the net, and I wasn't going to pay more in shipping then what they're worth...LOL

Nice mod Bob. I have my fire extenguisher the same way, and a few flares tucked under the seat for emergencies.

I decided not to mount my light anywhere. I put in on the floor between the drivers seat and the door molding. It slides a litle bit, but it is handy to have there.

thats how i had mine and after a while it got really anoying slidding around. on top of that when i opened my door the light would sometimes fall out. i broke down and spent the 5 bucks.

That's a good out of the way spot, but it is kind hard to get to if you are in a hurry.

I like where i ended up puttin mine, its easy to yank out when i need it quick and when i'm outside i can just open the door and pull it out too
