Okay,so it isn't quite a Maglite, but it's in a pretty handy spot. I also carry a 1 million candlepower 12v spotlight along with all my tools and emergency kits.

I couldn't make up my mind where to mount mine, so I put it in the glove box.

I finally found where I can buy the mag lite mounts locally. Lowe's had them, but once they were all sold, they didn't restock them. I already had a set, but I can't remember where I put them. Ended up getting this set at a farm and feed store.

So anyway, I found them today, and mounted my new LED mag in my truck (got the light for free, just had to pay for the batteries ).

I made my own maglite mount, it's like the one ModBargains used to sell as it mounts the same but it holds the light different. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I just used normal high strength velcro for now, wrapped two small circles of soft fuzzy stuff around the maglite and have two strips of the plastic hook part on the mount itself so it's just held on by the velcro. I went over some speed bumps at 60 a couple times and it didn't move so they are good lol.

I would have bought the other one, but I never got a reply to a PM I sent a while ago so I said **** you and made my own lol.

just adding to the thread, my little 3D LED mag is mounted front & center.

Got annoyed with the batteries rattling in the case, so i did a couple small rounds of electrical tape around the batteries to snug them up to the case. works like a champ

i finaly got around to mounting my mag light. i put it beside the drivers seat.

just a not for anyone doing this.... THERE ARE WIRES UNDER THERE SO WATCH WHERE YOU ARE DRILLING!!!! only reason i say this is because i drilled right through the wire bundle and lost my dome light and rear speakers. i got it fixed tho.

I see that I don't have this picture posted on this board, so...

I was the first to buy one of these from the guy that was building/selling them over on RPS. To forestall any questions -- no, the maglite has never slid out of the bracket on it's own and smacked me in the ankle. The bracket is mounted on the inboard driver's seat bolt.
