Update: Talked to Aaron today and might get the kit by the end of this week. I'm skipping powdercoat since it coule 2-10 days before he gets them back. So instead of waiting I'll just get them raw and paint them myself. I'll find out more wed. as thats when he plans to ship the kit.

Also got my Giant kit painted up. I used some Ford grey rustoleum engine enamel. It covers real thick and takes a beating. I did two thick coats after primer and then a coat of clear engine enamel. turned out great and should work great on the front end stuff too.

Good luck with it riding like a cadi on the streets the dirt is a different story but its gonna ride like a brick on the street! At least mine does. Offroad it rides smooth as silk though.

went to get hardware and I got it all but the 4.5"- 9/16" grade 8's I need. nobody has grade 8 in 9/16 around me. just 1/2" and 5/8". grrrr

and a side note: Fiberwerx owner emailed me back about my fenders, he said when i'm ready to order my rears to let him know and he'll take care of me. so hopefully that works out nice.

Found out the Fastenal by my work sells the 9/16 bolts I need so I will swing by and grab those after work. I'm in the middle of making my new rear crossmember, I kinda want to throw a 2" reciever in it for ****s..throw a d-ring mount in it etc. but I got no way to cut out the hole in the 1/4 square stock I have. I have a torch but no tanks.. my new ones got stolen and I have yet to replace them.

chopped off the weird little fins on the end and tacked in my rear crossmember. Its 1/4" 4x2 and its about a 1/4" short of the frame size(inside dim) but i'll either fill it with plate or BFH the frame end up close then weld it. i was going to go a different route but I wanted a really solid rear crossmember almost like a bumper to build off etc. I have to plate the frame in a couple spots and make a few more crossmembers after this one, then on to tube work.

crappy cell pics..dont mind the tires they are just sitn there
