So say I were to pull a 2wd AODE 4r70w out of a 2wd of appropriate year car, and used trans harness and sensors from explorer AODE 4r70w?? SOunds like a good idea to me or is it to good to be true?

Finally got everything Purchased to put the engine all back together!! eexcept the TM headers. Those are next.. unfortunenately.

then trans and i still need an 8.8 lol
the 7.5 is slowly dieing with these 35"s and man trans

I'd stay with 99 or newer, the best years for the 4R70W. That leaves you with the 99~01 4R70W from a 5.0 Explorer since it is the only one of those years with a 5.0 bell housing pattern..

Sick, those headers are so crazy looking. You planning on running cats on it?

You gonna sell your old trans and everything after you get the 302 in? Maybe I'll do a 5 speed swap if I have the money to buy your stuff

Presents I am going to start rebuilding he engine and takin trips to the junk yard and gry then trans and rear end. I can't freaking wait I'm sooo sick and tired of flooring it and going nowhere

Very nice dude... mine sit nicely in my motor.. if you are body lifted, you are gonna have one hell of a time clearing that bolt for the steering shaft and the header... They hit mildly when turning hard corners when the motor shifts a tad.
