My 5.0L swap attempt :)
You were able to buy the regulator separately? I thought it was only available with the complete pump unit.
Ok, that makes sense. The complete Ex intank assembly won't fit in a Ranger but, supposedly, you can swap the regulators between assemblies. I didn't do it to mine because the 2003 Ranger fuel pressure is an exact match for the 99 Ex engine.
Ok got the truck back and I must say, it cleared up alot of craziness i was dealing with while driving it to the exhaust shop... Running open headers really takes a blow to your motors performance, It stinks and it smoked a little bit. Not anymore though :) Well they did an awesome job and the truck runs pretty much flawless now.
Motor runs STRONG, Transmission shifts PERFECTLY, and it sounds great!!! This truck is truely bad@$$....
Im gonna consider this swap COMPLETE.
Now on to some pics:

I'm not sure how the Fords work but couldn't you just get your truck tuned to work with the different fuel pressure. I know on my old Camaro you could just go in and tell it what the fuel pressure was, the injector size and it would calculate how long to hold the injector open for to get the proper fuel.
Trucks looking good mudslanger lets get a video with the new exhaust
I switched the wiring just like this and it works PERFECTLY, thanks alot man :)
When you come to Austin we'll line up my soon to be (hopefully) PSD and your Ranger and do a burnout video side by side
I didnt read the thread, maybe i will some day.. But congrats.. have fun.

Thanks... This was truely a hard but pretty straight forward swap. It was time consuming and it caused me a lot of headache sometimes. Other times it seemed like everything was going my way and nothing was going wrong. I was very happy when I started it up and there were no CELs, leaks or weird noises. I paid very close attention to detail with this swap because I wanted to make sure my truck was perfect. After all the money, time and energy I spent on this swap, im proud to say im apart of the V8 ranger club. The truck is so much fun to drive and it idles PERFECT unlike my 3.0 where my cab would shake from the misfire. I couldnt have asked for a better motor. Im happy and I encourage everyone to follow in my footsteps :-P Thanks for all the people who helped me along the way with this project, couldnt have done it without you and Thanks to the haters out there who didnt think I could do it... Some advice on this topic is do ALOT of research. Im surprised at how well I did with this swap considering how much time i had to do it in. The 3.0 blew up on me and within days i was swapping in a 5.0 with very little research. I am willing to help anyone else on thier swaps, if you have a question please feel free to pm me. Thanks again yall!!!!

Agreed!
The hot chicks part is something Ive always wanted too! Lol. Actually got some of that and posted it on here, but she wasn't really laying on the truck. So, I give that half a check as well.
