Hey guys,
Found a Site that Sells Mag-Lites and a lot of Accessories.
I needed a new Lens and thought I was going to have to buy a new light but low and behold they have it.
Ended up buy a few things I have been putting off, got them now.
Rick at this store was great , easy to work with and through in a few O-Rings to make my old light new.
Maglite Sales - Discount Maglite Flashlights - Buy Maglite, Minimag, Maglite Solitaire, Streamlight, Dorcy
No Custom MagLite Mounting but a lot of stuff.
Just some info.

That's my truck interior in that picture, and it's one of the very first mag light holders that the guy made. I was hanging out over on RPS at the time -- they kinda caught on a bit, and I remember the guy asked if he could use my photo for his ads. You might want to scour the board over there and get in touch with the guy that made them... I don't know if he has an account here on R/F or not....

Will see where it goes.
Not to steal his pattern… but it wouldn’t be hard to make on of these.
The only thing that might be hard to locate would be something I would like to add, some rubber bumpers on the inside of the unit to keep it from rattling.
Get some .062 Wall aluminum tubing, some aluminum straps .062 x 1.5 inch or what ever width you would need for mounting to the seat bolt.
Hmmmm… gotta think on this, no asking for orders just need to look into this.

Shane -- I think modbargains.com is the group that took up selling them for the guy, way back when.. didn't know Alon used to work there, tho... I got mine before modbargains.com picked them up as a product -- I think, besides the original designer/builder, mine was the first sold unit (it cost me $8.00, shipped! :-D )
Sandy -- there's just a couple strips of thin stick-on foam rubber (you can see them in the pics) that run down the interior wall of the aluminum tubing... doesn't rattle at all, and the 5-cell and/or 3-cell Mag Lite stays secure in there without sliding out on it's own.

I contacted modbargains.com, they said they didn’t have them, funny.
I will have to get back to them.

Hey Guys...
I talked to Alon last night and he's about ready to start making those modbargains style maglite mounts in the very near future~!!
So stay tuned. I'll probably bump the thread when I find more out.

“Jdog1928", at least it is the person that I determined to be the originator.
Could be wrong, wouldn’t be the first time so play it by ear.
ltr and keep me in on it too.

Who is going to make these Mounts ?
Should they be made from Aluminum or thin walled Steel ?
