Went to the Flats yesterday. Awesome trails. This is the only pic I got. I took a bunch of video with my gopro for the first time but can't get them to play right.

Tweaked the caliper bracket or something and made the brakes drag. It ran hot, melted the hub seal, and almost caused a grease fire on the brakes. It was smoking like hell. So I had to put the new tire up there while I had the old one off.

New seals, brakes, and paint. Found some Marsh racing rims too. So it shouldn't be long til the 38s are on.

Me too. Wheels are now ordered. Decided to go with silver. 16.5x8.25 w/ 2" backspacing.

Came home to a present from UPS. Not really digging the red stripe and the backspacing almost looks stupid in the rear. But I think I'm gonna need it for the front tires to clear.

Snickers had a present for me in the backyard too.

That rear poke is crazy! Should look good with a tire though.

I changed my mind on rims. Found a great deal on some H1 double beadlocks. So if everything goes as planned these will be mine shortly.

$600, less than half of what they cost new from trailworthyfab. He's also throwing in a set of stock H1 rims and some other spare parts. I should be able to sell those or even junk them and recoup a little cash.

Mounted up the spare and checking for clearance. The beadlocks have 3.5" backspacing and this wheel only has 2". So we'll see how well the new ones will fit. It's gonna be close.

Some how I broke the clock spring. Now the horn blows at random times while turning. Just another thing to fix.

Mounted one up to see how close it is. Probably going to need some spacers.

I wish it was that easy. Need it for state inspection. I should get me a set of dixie horns and call it a day.

Primer looks good.

I'm thinking blue or primer.

dont leave it primer, primer attracts moisture which will cause it to peel and rust. You need a good base coat to seal it.

If you like the primer look you could seal it with a satin or flat clear coat

I just liked the color of the primer. I would get some actual paint. Almost looks gunmetal.

I should've gotten some pics with them on the wheels. The light silver looks awesome with the black wheels. But definitely diggin the blue.
