I think the purpose is for approach angle... I could be wrong tho. He also has those sliders at the backside of the leaf springs on that front axle... Tire goes up and backwards slightly. Makes sense in my head anyway, lol.

TrePaul's was forward like that also.

That's the idea. Axle is 4" forward from stock.

What's lurking at bottom right of picture? Lol.

I hate satellite roof mounts.
2000 xlt 4x4. My loaner Ranger until I finish mine and fix the water pump in the Grand am.

She drives!!! Steering needs some more bleeding and still haven't done the support but everything else feels pretty good.

I think I still have some air in the master cylinder. It stops ok but I know it can be better.


Tires are mounted. Looks a little meaner now.

Those lugs are 2.50 each so I've been doing the $20 at a time AutoZone thing.

Except mine drives. Pics or gtfo.

Still trying to fix the winch and somehow the hellas filled up with water. Might just get rid of them and find a cool led bar.
