Got the shocks reworked and checking for bumpstops. Almost ready for inspection.

Cut the fenders too.

Drove about 60 miles to get some welding done. At 50 on the speedo it was jumping all over the place. Death wobble style almost had to stop to make it quit. Hoping it's tires or alignment everything else is tight. Not diggin the spool.

Got the rear shocks on and need some clearance for the drag link.

The ranger is looking good!! My rear spool pushes a lot around corners and could feel the front shifting even more when I install the bigger tires. I just got done installing a tract bar today and it made it steer so much better and took away the shifting I was getting. May want to look into it if you'll getting the same thing. Ill post pics tomarrow.

Getting ready to gear up the Ranger. 88 HP Dana 60 going from 3.54s to 5.38s.

My options:

#1-Yukon thick cut gears and install kit , with no money left over for locker

#2-USA Standard thick cut gears and install kit, with some money left over to put toward lunchbox locker.

#3-Save your money fool and get a full carrier locker and regular cut gears.

Searching around it sounds like the USAs are pretty good and an extra $200 to put towards a spartan would be awesome.

Thanks.

If it was mine i would go with option 2. That way you can get it regeared and still have a little over for your locker.

The shipping was cheap and fast. Daves Offroad Supply gave me the lowest price on the gears I could find and beat another vendors price for the locker. Definitely gonna use them again.

Finally got the bumpstops on. Only have 1 1/2-2 inches uptravel with these. But that's just gonna have to do until I notch the frame for a flat pitman arm. Still does pretty good I think. Planning to go to Uwharrie here in a couple weeks and test it out in 2wd.

I've been driving it a lot on the weekends. Drove it 2 hours to the mountains for an offroad event and took it on the easy trails. It did alright.

Took it to uwharrie today. Did all the trails except for the difficult and ran Dutch John downhill. Did really well only had trouble in a few spots. Bent the rear bumper just a little bit and chunked the hell out of the back tires but other than that it was good to be back in the woods.
