Not much progess. I took the fender off and managed to soak everything in atf starting the truck up. But everything is ground down just waiting on parts. Leafsprings and sliders are on the way.

Everything showed up today. These things are nice!

Finally feel like I'm making some progress instead of just tearing my truck up.

One of the clamps busted in shipping even though these things were packaged awesome. Gotta figure out how to fix that.

Nice!

Do you still have the other piece of the clamp? You might be able to have it welded back together (or weld it yourself)

Contact Rancho and see what they can do for you.

I've got the other piece but I bought these privately. I'm going to take it to work and see if they can weld it. It almost looks likes cast.

They shouldn't be cast. Just mild steel. I don't have that clamp at the front and my springs and they pop and move around a lot. I'm putting some on soon so they don't move as much. I'm curiouser how those spring sliders are going to work looks kinda neat.

So do you just weld those spring hangers right to the bottom of the frame? Seems like a really interesting idea.

Pretty much but I'm going to have to outboard them. Frame is around 31" and perches are 36.5".

That's correct. I was too lazy to type it out.

Ordered some wrong stuff from Ruffstuff. So I got these from Barnes and they were here fast.

Looks like I'll have 48" or so to the back of the slider slot with it jammed up against the body mount. The springs look like they are 47" eye to eye. So hopefully I won't have to cut that body mount in the back.

More legit stuff from Barnes, ubolt flip kit and shock mounts. Looks like it's gonna work well. Finally have everything I need to mount the springs and axle.

Hopefully this weekend I can get the brackets cut off the axle and get the truck at ride height. It's sitting level but it needs to be higher and I need extra hands for that so it won't fall over.

Ubolts are upside down because of those brackets.

Picked up some 2.5x2.5x1/4 and finally got the axle cleaned up. But after some more measuring I think it needs to be skinnier and wider. Maybe some 2x4.

The 2.5x2.5 is definitely not gonna work. Have the axle at ride height and its gonna be huge. But it looks like I'll be able to clear the slider bolt.
