What do you mean by shim the kingpins? I get some death wobble too around 40 but i cant decide if its tires or axle alignment issues.

^I would bet money its the tires. Same thing with my 37's. Went and had them balanced by ORW, and haven't had any DW since.

yeah that really isnt an option for me. not too many people can balance 42s. this winter i am going to pull the tires off and have the wheels and rings powder coated. When I do that I will probably throw out the air soft BBs and get the smaller ceramic BBs and put exactly the right amount in each tire.

I do agree though its most likely the tires. My steering heims are getting some play though.

For some reason i thought you were running 37s too. (I know, it even says 42s in your sig. Fail on me)

Well, sounds like you already know what to do. A good friend of mine installed the same tires on his Suburban, if you want, i will ask how much he used (He did the airsoft BB's too). His truck has no DW either.

Alright, I'll let you know. I just texted him. I don't know if he is on a det or deployment or anything as i haven't talked to him about a month, but if he gets back to me, I'll forward it right to ya.

As for Rob, most tire shops can go up to 37's using the stick on weights.

You pull you king pin caps off and put shims on top of the spring it gives the spring more tension and helps hold the knuckle centered on the inner c. it seamed to stop the death wobble.
My tires ride pretty decent for being unballanced a little bumpy right around 50 mph is all, i never had death wobble with my d-44 with the same tires so i dont think thats any problem.
I got all my body panels back on also!
i know i need new steering heims also i wanna wait and order up a psc full hydro kit though we will see i just paid all my school for this semester so funds are tight again!

I was going to but i want to get the cage done before i do that since i will be tieing the cage into the cab it would have burnt the crap out of the paint once its done the truck will either be a metalic blue and silver 2 tone or a metalic black and metalic purple 2 tone. Havent decided yet.
Its good enough for me right now im just gonna paint the hood black and run it for a while function over looks
