yeah its not perfectly centered. i don't mind. lol.

i keep going back and forth on the truck, what i want to do for the driveline.

i still need/want to swap in a bw 4406 manual tcase. so i can have 4 lo and 2wd and get rid of my AWD right now.

I'd really like to get a little more clearance for my tires.

but i don't want to do a 3'' body lift, exhaust, hitch, front hitch. i don't want to have to deal with moving that up. more work then i'd like to do.

i thought about swapping in a d30 or a d44. but that is also a lot of work for steering and everything else.

what i've really been thinking of doing lately, and makes the most sense in my opinion for keeping my truck a good DD.

1'' body lift, i can leave exhaust/hitches and don't have to mod those.
Also with leaving the d35, i would pick up a new front/rear axle with 4.10's put a locker in the front and keep the l/s in the rear.

that would take care of most of my problems i've had, little more tire clearance, better gearing(have 3.73's now) and L/S in rear, Locker in front. (i have manual hubs so street driving wouldn't be bad, i'm currently open/open diffs right now)

What do you guys think?

Centering lights not a boggy, just me.

1" BL, will that be enough ?
I have the mod'd SuperLift w/Coil Over Shocks and even 33s hit a little.
I was thinking 1" BL to clear them,
Manual t-case is a good idea anyway you look at it so do it.

D30/D44 what is the size difference.
If possible stick to the D44.

What all of us miss sometimes is the DD thing.
We lift the trucks and get a little worse ride, chg out the axles and get more of a bad ride but where do we call it for a good riding DD.
I'm with you on the DD thing, start thinking GOOD RIDE !

The truck looks good, if it ride well enough for you then stick to BL only!

Ltr/good luck with future mods.

yeah, it doesn't ride to good right now, but hey its a truck with m/t's on it.

i don't have any rubbing now, but i haven't really flexed it out to the max either. the truck wasn't made for hardcore rock crawling so it should be fine. i really just want the BL for that 1 inch between the tire and fender, it would look a lot better.

between the d30 and d44 theres pretty big differences, the d30 is close to the rangers stock d35 size. theres benefits and cons to both, but both of them being a solid front axle its a lot of work.

when does your truck rub? what are you doing? my truck doesn't really sit high, but from going from 235's to 33's it fits them pretty well.

I'd like to get some more opinions.

1'' body lift and change my diffs out for 4.10's and add a locker in the front.

or SAS.

i keep going back and forth, the first option is the cheapest and probably better off for me.

As much as I hate body lifts. A 1 inch BL would prolly be best for you.

I always liked the stance of your truck. Plus it would still be good as a DD

No comments on the LEDS, kinda sad about that.

i posted an exhaust video but i'll re link it in here as well.

I really wish i had my own house with a heated garage and space to work.

probably not many mods till spring. but plans are as follows (for now)

1'' body lift
rocksliders/steps
New front/rear diffs with 4.10's and front locker.

Wirelessly posted (Droid2)

Those leds are great! Have to get around to putting the rest of mine in, but it is getting colder outside. May have to wait for a warm day...no heat in the shop besides an old space heater. Is it as much work in installing a 1" bodylift as the 3" bodylift?

yeah you do the same amount of work but instead of putting a 3'' block its just a 1'' one.

sounds awesome. sounds way more like a foxbody than mine ever did, must be the pretty much straight exhaust.

I think he thought he had 3.73's in the front when he actually had 4.10's so he got the wrong axle.

Boy you are a wealth of knowledge about the guys on this site, lol.

Most Ex Axles are 3.73, was there an option for 4.10, Ranger yes but in the Ex ?

ha, i looked @ the code in the door jam like 2 years ago, must of mis read it. so when i bought my axle i thought i had 3.73's and i never double checked.

i'm paying for the re gear so that sucks. but i'm glad i have 4.10's lol.
