Figured i'd update.

i can ride my motorcycle and bike to work, so i hardly have to drive it, but its basically fine.

other than an oil leak, coming from the main rear seal. so a few hundred bucks to get that fixed sometime soon, but i've still been driving it.

i picked up my axle from andy the other week. explorer 8.8 disk brakes limited slip and 3.73 gears to match the front. just gotta get some new rotors and change the fluid in it. paint it and weld some shock mounts on it.

i also have a new update that i will update hopefully later today or tomorrow.

also, might be selling my motorcycle today maybe, so i'll have some extra cash finally, (pay off truck because of some crap before) and then i'll have some more money that i can dump into it for new motor parts and hopefully manual Tcase and driveshafts.

Thanks Matt.

i got my exhaust redone, removed the crappy muffler on it, and its straight piped, also changed a little bit where it comes out and the angle and crap.

i'd take a picture, but it isn't pretty right now. they put a extremely tiny chrome tip on it, i told them to take it off and return it, so i'ma find my own tip for it and then i'll get a picture of it.

Also like everyone says, biggest and best mod for the truck,

finally paid off! went to the bank today and dropped cash and its finally paid for!

sad to see my motorcycle go, but i got 900$ for it when its not even close to be worth that. and the guy knew what was wrong with it, so win win for me. plus i really needed to get my money all squared away and get caught up on some things.

You guys might laugh @ how this picture looks, i think it looks nasty. but untill i get the right sized tip for it thats how it looks if you bend down and look @ it.

but just normally looking at it, it looks perfectly fine. sounds pretty good, actually sounds like a v8 now.

i think it will actually save me gas, because in town it would be loud to mash the gas and take off, so now its slow and easy going :)

and wow does my truck look dirty in this picture ha, its really just dusty from gravel.

ha i know, the angle how the tip is makes it look really funny, the pipe is 2 1/4 which is stock, the tip isn't that much bigger but i have it angled a little bit so it looks better. which is why in the picture being that low it looks f'd up.

Sounds good, sounds like a Flow Master.

I didn’t read back through all 10 pages but who is the manufacturer of the muffler ?

turned out great, wish I was where you are with the 5.0.

ltr/luck...

I have no muffler, its stock with 4 cats, then y pipe and single exit infront of passenger tire. thats it. kinda loud if you get on it, but i figure it would save me some gas in town from mashing on the peddle all the time.

Not much new with the truck really,

i'm starting on my bed project, basically it will be like this but not as fancy.

my other project that i really want to do but no welder yet and not 100% sure on the design is a ladder rack.

basically it will be like that, but it will mount just to the topper and will have mesh over the whole rack.

basically i just want the truck to be able for me to drive up north for the weekend and not have to see another person.

i found this truck on car domain and quite sad that the member sold the truck a while back. pretty much what i want my truck to be just with some minor details.

i've been wanting to do this for a while, just finally getting around to it.

picked up 40' of wood today, just about out already.

it looks sketchy right now, but once everything is done and the top is covered in carpet it will be nice.

what i did today, i have tomorrow off so hopefully i'll have it done other than the carpet.

well got it done today, i might add some 1/8th inch sheet panels around the outside yet to make it more like a box but other than adding carpet its done. i ordered the carpet last night so should have that next week.

once the topper is back on, its bascially ready for camping.

but my list to add to the truck is always changing.

second battery
power inverter
roof ladder rack(hold spare tire/firewood/misc
mount for high lift,shovel,axe
some type of powered cooler/freezer.
