Bumping to the last page.
Pricing:
Kit with powdercoated brackets: $290
Kit with raw brackets: $270
Shipping:
$17 US
$46 Canada
Kit includes:
4 brackets (2 upper, 2 lower)
4 gussets to reinforce shock tower
2 shock tower spacers for upper mounts
8 rod end spacers (for 1/2" wide rod ends--like Fox)
All hardware to install--grade 8 zinc plated
Stainless steel hardware is available for an additional $30
What else you will need:
2 coilover shocks
2 coil springs
2 limit straps and brackets
What you may need:
Bump stops if you are lifting your truck at the same time, but if you already have a Superlift, or if you are remaining at stock height, you can reuse what you have. You simply need to trim back the bracket on the frame where the bump stop mounts, so that the coilover will clear it. You then redrill a hole in the remaining part of the bracket and mount the bump stop further in.
To order:
1. Send payment to sbeau1 (at) metrocast (dot) net.
.......include in your instructions that it's for Ranger coilover brackets, if you want powdercoated or not, and your R-F user name
2. Post in this thread that you've sent payment.
3. check in on the thread for updates.
4. Post pics of your install!

As long as it's a torsion bar suspension, it will work exactly the same. The B3000 is the same as a Ranger, with the same suspension options.

There will be some minor welding involved. Possibly some modification to the bump stops and to add limit straps if you are going to. Read the entire thread.. your questions will be answered.

Sorry, I just realised that the payment info has my email address, but doesn't actually say PayPal. Yes, PayPal is how you pay.
I have a couple of sets assembled and just waiting powdercoat. I believe the pieces are cut for a few more sets, that just need to be welded up.
Thanks

Hey all!
So i got my conversion done a week ago now, and im a bit concerned looking at everyone else's up travel that i may have the wrong shocks. My boxes from DSMS are marked 980-02-000, and I made sure to tell them that I do not have a superlift. Im running 600lb springs in case you are wondering.

Look back at my post #1631 and Corkey's post #1711. Both are pictures of the standard eyelet clearance.
If you switch eyelets you might have to move to a stiffer spring also. Here's a picture of the setup I ran that I have for sale right now. This was 650# springs and you can see how far down I had the preload to get it to set level with the back. The spring would coil bind before the shock ran out of travel with this much preload.

I do a lot of off roading, and based on what i saw when i was test fitting everything, im concerned about running without the extended eyelets due to possibly hitting the outter cv boot. How is the ride on a 700? These 600s almost seem too stiff too me, is that because they are so preloaded?
