Do i need confirmation from him directly or do i just use the process described in his earlier post and just send the $ with the details and weeks later they just show up at my door? When i discovered these brackets i was stoked i dont want to even consider trying to fab my own too much thinking for me to

I think it took him a day or 2 to get back to me. I think i could probably just send the payment. This was just like a week ago i sent him the payment. I spoke with him about 3 or 4 days ago cuz i forgot to send the shipping also. To much going on. I think its gonna be another couple weeks befor i get my brackets. I cant wait. I also was so stoked i found that shawn was still making these.

I am gonna order the deaver f31 leafs for the back and can run them at stock height but it seems like it would make more sense to run them with the shackle not flipped upside down to get 2.5 inches of lift.
If you want to run the longer coilovers you need the superlift. Longer travel shocks do not equal more wheel travel. You would actually cut your travel substantially by using the 6.5" on stock suspension as you won't have any bump travel available.

This swap does not change your whee travel, just removes tbars and gives more run ability and control from quality shocks.

If you want more travel you need longer a arms to go along with longer travel shocks.

As for the F31s yes you can run them for 2.5" of lift without flipping them but you won't be able to take full advantage of them performance wise.

I recommend a shackle flip with drop hangers you will get more whee travel and 1.5" of lift. Just make sure to match your shocks with the rear travel.

Stock is about 8 in of travel at the wheel.

Thank you. After reading youre answer it makes sense.i just should have thought longer befor i asked. I dont really even want a lift. I just want more suspension travel. I think i remember reading you guys posts now about how the stock balljoints and cv shaft is about maxed out with the 5 inch shock and 10 inch coil. So u answered the question i really wanted the answer to is that i need longer a arms and different cv shafts if i want more travel. And is the 8 inches of suspension is stock or with the super lift? Youre ranger sounds badass. How much hp u got with the super charger?

No worries, long travel is a ton of fun but expensive to do right.

The 8"travel is stock or superlifted there is no change to the wheel travel.

Thanks my truck is coming along well, the charger added a few more ponies then stock, haven't dyno'd it yet but it runs great.

Ya i hear ya there. It starts to become a big bill real quick. I like the dbr kit the one guy on here has. But those prices are insane. My truck aint wirth half of what that kit cost just for the front without the price of shocks included. Lol. But not really. Its tough. Fun stuff nowadays requires a fair amount of coin for anything it seems like. I would be interested how much hp u do have. How much was the supercharger if u dont mind me asking? And thanks for the suspension info. This will be the forst time i bought shocks that werent those cheap nugget monroes from advanced auto. So far i have only ordered the coilover bracket kit from shawn. Basically trying to figure out the best route to go for what i want without spending over 2000$ unless i absolutely have to.

Check out my build thread for details on the charger and I am also running the Dbr long travel kit. Don't want to clutter this thread up more then it already is.

My super charger eaton m90 cost me $300 the kit came from Moddbox.com and it cost me $2000. With the 3.5psi pully it made 75hp doing nothing to it just mounting it and my intercooler cost me $700 or so. Maf, tune, 10psi pully and injectors in the works now

That is strange. I think he is quite busy rite now. It took me a little bit of time to get hold him. He will get back to you. That im positive of. So i talked to mike and he said stock a arms is about 8 inches of wheel travel. Only way to get more is a kit like dixon bros racing. But its like 3500$. And that dont include the shocks. So looks like the 8 inches of travel is gonna have to be enough for me for now. He also said that for the rear deaver makes a stack of leaf springs that is about 550$ and i think its like 10 or 12 inches of travel for the back. Just need shocks and limit straps then and that takes care of the back.

No doubt its a lot of money, in for a penny in for a pound they say. Do it peace mail if u gotta just like ur saying. Thats pretty much what i do i by a bunch of parts and when im done collecting everything i install it. If u could swing the superlift id say do that so you couldat least lay down the foundation then build offa that, leafs, coils etc.

Right. At first i wasnt gonna go with a lift. Cuz that doesnt add any wheel travel. Just gives you height. But noe im thinking i might want both.

Take a look back in this thread, many have covered it, you can trim most of the stop off but leave the rear most hole. I used trim to fit TJ bump stops from daystar. they work fine.

I cant decide if i should get 650 or 700 pound springs. I decided to keep it stock height. Cant afford the lift and dont know if i even want it. Im gonna order stuff tomorow. I should have my coilover brackets from shawn in 2 or 3 weeks. So i figure i better get to ordering some more stuff.

Guys, I know I haven't been on R-F much lately, but I'm still making these. The best way to reach me is via email, as I don't always seem to get my private message notifications.

Just to move this to the most recent page:

Pricing:
Kit with powdercoated brackets: $290
Kit with raw brackets: $270

Shipping:
$17 US
$46 Canada

Kit includes:
4 brackets (2 upper, 2 lower)
4 gussets to reinforce shock tower
2 shock tower spacers for upper mounts
8 rod end spacers (for 1/2" wide rod ends--like Fox)
All hardware to install--grade 8 zinc plated

Stainless steel hardware is available for an additional $30

What else you will need:
2 coilover shocks
2 coil springs
2 limit straps and brackets

What you may need:
Bump stops if you are lifting your truck at the same time, but if you already have a Superlift, or if you are remaining at stock height, you can reuse what you have. You simply need to trim back the bracket on the frame where the bump stop mounts, so that the coilover will clear it. You then redrill a hole in the remaining part of the bracket and mount the bump stop further in.

To order:
1. Send payment to sbeau1 (at) metrocast (dot) net.
.......include in your instructions that it's for Ranger coilover brackets, if you want powdercoated or not, and your R-F user name
2. Post in this thread that you've sent payment.
3. check in on the thread for updates.
4. Post pics of your install!

Thanks to all of you guys for the support in making these. I'm happy to be able to offer something to the RBV community.
