LOVE this truck, but I dont understand how the hell yours is so tall with just a spindle lift/block lift.... that is unless it has T-bar's and I missed something.

oil changed & new front shocks. had lower stud brak on me taking the nut off on the right side. drilled & tapped it for a 8mm bolt, put it back together & put in my 8mm bolt with nut & a fender washer, tightend the nut down then cut off the excess bolt. did the blazer rear shocks yesterday and had a similar issue. rust can be such a bitch to deal with, but these were the original front shocks, 19 years old!

Test fitted my new sub/box and amps.Had to do a little trimming to get the sub where I wanted.I made the cut perfect but got some black marker showing.Gonna cover it with light gray carpet dye when I get to work tomorrow. When I get a day off I'm gonna pull the seats out and wire everything up.

Put strobes in fog lights and re wired my P.A system. Next up, 5% tints all the way around and taking off my muffler for that straight pipe sound. :)

replaced all 3 u-joints on my rear driveshaft, knocked one of the balance weights off & had to tackweld it back on. was a long tough job, they were the original u-joints and even though i soaked everytning in pb blaster overnight, it just didnt want to come apart. even the retaining clips were tough to get out. i drove it afterwards and was glad to see i dont have any vibration.

I cleaned up my engine compartment with some Simple Green and paper towels. I sprayed down everything and wiped it all off and it makes the whole compartment look like new. Filled up the windshield washer fluid with Rain-X.

Tomorrow I make payment number 59 on it. One more payment after that and I'm done...yippee !!

Oil change with 5 quarts of Mobil 1 5W30 and a new Fram Tough Guard filter, then I re-flashed the computer for the 265s. I also put the finishing touches on the new storage box; should be going in the truck this weekend (it still smells like spray adhesive, so that's gotta dissipate first).
