I got a nifty little cap from the plumbing section at Ace hardware that screwed right onto my factory manifolds where the Egr screwed on.

Um..I dunno....I took my Manifold with me and found a cap that fit it perfect. Cost me like $3.29 I think.

This can definitely affect the idle/part throttle A/F mixture. Enough to cause the problems you're seeing? I couldn't say but it needs to be fixed regardless. So, a good place to start IMO.

Yah, i'm running 94/95 stang headers on my t-bird, and was able to find a cap for the egr port. Can't remember which style fitting worked, but it was brass and i got it at Ace Hardware.

i think those heders are awsome and suck at the same time... there awsome for obvious reasons, but with them being so close/touching the frame there just going to keep coming lose. did the factory manifolds fit any better?

mark if you sell those, im willing to bet you may have to find someone with an sas to make them work properly. looks like the uca and shock bracket is owning your headers... its possible that you could have the issues corrected, but not 100 percent.

its mainly because he shifted the motor to help clear steering. Plenty of people have had them work fine, just might have to lose the BL. may have to make up the lift you want in suspension.

if you went SAS, I would just make regular headers work

Ouch, sucks ya gotta nix the headers. Make sure ya get 98-01 cast manifolds, as bad as they are,the earlier tubulars are much worse

Dang, just completely read this whole thing. Well not just, ive been slowly readin on it the past few days. You've definately been through hell with it man and i really hope the the stock manifolds fix your problem. It gets me excited though to do mine. Either way its nice man and i hope it all gets fixed and you can put a few more "better" parts back on that you had to remove. Good luck with the manifolds.

Alright Weather permitting and if i can find a set at the JY today I will be changing the TM headers bakc to stock today. Hopefully it only takes today haha. Anyway that measn the Torque monster headers will be available for purchase! I will ship of course and I will cut you a deal. Keep in mind i did have to use an air hammer to dent in the tube a tad but it is nothing major. Im asking 375 unless yall want to have bidding war.
