Picked up new ball joints an tierods. Just need the 30pk of bud light and time

 

replaced the wheel bearings, sway bar link bushings, upper ball joints, painted my wheels black, took my subs out, and put everything back to stock form, and finally, listed it for sale :)

FINALLY did the led swap on the cluster haha. just went plug and play with the 5smd bulbs from superbright :)

Fabbed this mount out of aluminum angle and coated with Rustoleum Spray-on Bedliner

And added an auxilliary fuse box to clean-up my underhood wiring. Six circuit weathertite Hella from Summit. I was sick of all of the wiring harnesses with the in-line fuse holders from the various items I've added: Driving lights, dual horns, CounterAct rust protector, back-up lights. Much cleaner install for sure.





All of the looms are color-coded in case I need to chase anything down. Fabbed-up a plate and mounted fuse panel to the ABS unit with that super duty plastic velcro.

I clay bar'd/polished/waxed my truck. Added Grand Marquis horns, painted the grill & bedlined the safari bar. Added an emblem overlay on the tailgate and put on a 21" SS black powdercoated antenna!

 

I sanded my driver side inner wheel well, primed it, painted it and clear coated it. Also removed the grill and cleaned it for painting tomorrow. Passenger side to be done tomorrow as well. Woo!

 

Washed it, went over the whole truck with some Wax and Grease remover, the Waxed it with some AutoGlym.
should last it an hour around here.

 

Cleaned my K&N filter!

 

I tore apart the door and fixed the window reg/motor....Cleaned the cab out, and wanted to do a bunch of other stuff as well but the wife had to go to a bridal shower while i'm stuck watching the sick little one......

Things on the list...

1)repair head light switch
2)mount loose cd player
3)shampoo carpets and seats
4)install new plugs and wires
5)rhino spray bed
6)paint fender flares and grill flat black
7)paint emblems gloss white with black letters
8)spray undercoat armor
9)change leaky diff plate

the list goes on and on....I never really was into taking care of this thing like this but after i thought it died, i got on this site and it sparked a passion and after doing a little here and there i relized how much i love my truck and how great it is to just screw off in the garage each weekend....can't wait to take her duck hunting this winter.....

 

Traded the truck for a four door car since we got another kid coming, but as soon as the car is paid for, I'll be looking for another Ranger.

 

Finished the Duplicolor rim paint job I started on Saturday. 3 Coats of self etching primer and 3 coats of Satin Black Duplicolor rim paint with a roughing up inbetween each coat.

 

Got the Hellas from the previous page mounted.

Absolutely nothing except walked past and touched it because it's clay bar smooooooth. lol

 

new 7" JVC dvd head unit installed :) wired so that i can watch it while in drive (not that i will, but passenger can enjoy)

 

i'm sure i pissed off my ranger today because i rode my new suzuki gsx-r to work for the first time. I'll have to make it up to the old girl and wash and wax her tomorrow. Maybe take a clay bar to the paint as well.

 

I would love to see how that came out. I have been thinking about doing the same thing to mine.

What kind of rims did you start with? Mine are aluminum.

Half Cord of Green spruce stacked in the bed. Then went back and got the other half. Going back today to get 4 more cords, lots of stacking to do.

 

finished the underbody kit....now i shine blue at nite :D
