The "What did you do to your Ranger today" thread
yeah i didnt think so either. but with this sized light, its perfect. and its off to the side, so it wont be throwing light on the hood at all which is good. i think its the perfect spot now that i see it. shouldnt be very visible in cab either.
Since picking it up two weeks ago I've removed the plastic bed liner, prep for and applied a roll on bed liner, washed and started detailing it. I spent about four hours trying to remove the scratches and it's looking much better. Today is step two and then a coat of wax, install tonneau cover and tailgate protector.
Just removed the console storage thing between the 2 front seats, as the hinge was weak and it was just flopping around. Was glad to find out it opens up the interior a good bit and lets me get to the ext cab area easier :)
took it to the local autobody shop. booked my time to get the truck fixed.
roof will get paintless dent removal, but hood will be done the conventional method, which means repainting.
im getting em to paint the bulge black. always wanted it done. now i get it done for free haha. thank you hail damage gods!!

hit 100k tonight. Funny thing is, this happened driving in Dearborn just past the Henry Ford Museum right in front of all the super secret Ford development buildings where the Ranger was probably once a sketch on an engineer's desk.
Bought my truck 2 days ago with a broken tach. Today i ripped apart the dash took out my cluster and re soldered the connections on the back of the tach. Got it all put back together and boom, working again :) didnt take any pics, but heres one of my Truck (my first car)

looks good! probably one of the most convenient mods I've done to my truck. the Full led-interior swap is pretty cool yet blinding haha
The guy that got me the light from the j/y sent me a LED but guess I'm old school just like the regular bulbs. Really appreciate you posting the install got my old brain thinking,LOL!
my ranger got into a fight with a lowered s10 last weekend.... was ruled my fault... was raining his truck was black and didnt have any lights on.. he had just turned off a busy street 300 feet from the intersection I was turning left at... looked and nobody was coming... started to turn and looked again and he was hauling *** towards the intersection.... I stopped, he achored his brakes and slid into me....

here is the fix up to this point... also lost a hubcap in the accident.... never did find it

about half the bolt holes were ripped out of the valence, driving light was smashed, bumper is mostly paint damage and there is a dent below the pass headlight
