DWB 4x4 LT
Dammit dude I'm so freakin' jealous!! I think you def. did right going LT rather than SAS. I'd say you are def. a jumper at heart from the old jump videos you used to post with just the body lift hahaha. Speaking of those old videos..did you make any lately or when you were at the dunes?? Your videos were always sick.
yeah true! Yeah I couldnt get the gears and selas in time for the trip, and I was just lazy the rest of the summer. Soon if everything works out I should be getting matts (quasi242) loaded front diff with 4.88 new seals etc. then I just throw the axles in and I'm 4x4.
haha yeah the good ole days. I didnt make a cool video from the last trip I just had a few clips. not sure if you saw them or not but here is the links

oh yeah for sure, I'ts got more tube now plus the bedsides and the battery in the rear etc. Also those shocks were not setup right. the rear end didnt really soak up the hit at take off. just bucked off so it made it nose dive worse. cant wait to have it dailed in more
keep the bed run one of these!

For Reference of my question below:
Noob question as well, I'm a little embarrassed to ask this, but what does LT stand for? (I see what you did, I just done know what it stands for)
Nice job on the work as well!
LT stands for long travel. The canti. setup is basically just a different way to mount the shocks. the travel would be the same depending on what leafs you would use. I a'm strapped at 19" in the rear right now on mine and if I used my leafs with that I would have the same.
not yet, most of my extra cash went into my f250, so after that settles down a bit I'll get back to working on it once the colder months are over. maybe around feb-march get to working on it again
how the hell is this even relevant to the thread? the only chance i get to respond to any threads is when i get home from work. AT NIGHT.
haha yeah they got quite a bit of travel. I'll try and save for a decent link setup when I can.
went and visited the Ranger today. Had to change out the right front flat so I put my two spares on the front. I think I am going to go for some wider wheels with different offset cause I like the look much better. And it fill out the front fenders perfect. I also turned it over for the first time since late october, and took it for a spin. Actually handled in the snow quite well for being 2wd. I'll get some better day pics next time we get a snowstorm and I take it out for a bit. need to take it out in the backroads before salt gets to them.
also now I got an itch to get working on it again..I miss my baby hah

Yeah i like them too,but I was thinking of going 17s. There is a guy near me that sells one race bfg race cut tires for cheap. Also I was having tire to uca clearance problems with the offset I have now. It's still just a maybe. And 4x4 is in the works I'm just lazy. Still will probably buy matts (Quasi242) completely rebuilt front diff with 4.88s that he was going to put in before his accident. Then it will be a quick drop in deal with the new shafts. I may think about an Aussie for the front too, give me some more options off-road.

I was having problems with the tire rubbing on my upper control arms as well. I was running 315/70/R17 BFG AT's on a 17" wheel with 4.5" back space. The tire sidewall would rub well before the steering made it to full lock.
